Authentic Old Traditional Costume from Oltenia, Worthy of a Museum

The costume consists of a Romanian traditional blouse with skirt or a dress (L-XL) and a pair of old wool traditional aprons.

1. Very Old Traditional Blouse with Skirt

It is hand-sewn and hand embroidered on old, handwoven hemp and linen fabric. Being a Romanian blouse from the south of Romania, the hemp fabric is thinner than the fabric from Transylvania. Very fine hand stitching with black-blue cotton thread.

This unexpectedly large traditional Romanian dress easily fits up to 80-85 kg (176-187 lbs) and can even accommodate more, as it has plenty of material around the chest. However, at over 80 kg (176 lbs), it starts to feel tight around the neck and underarms.

No defects, ready to wear, clean. The fabric is strong, durable, and comfortable to wear, being made from hemp and linen, which are organic fibers.

This is a traditional Romanian shirt worthy of a museum.

2 .Pair of Wool Traditional Aprons

Made of coarse wool. Black background with multicolored flowers. In good condition with normal wear for a traditional piece over 50 years old.

The ribbons on the edges have been recently replaced, as the old ones were damaged.

It is very rare to find a traditional Romanian costume in this size and age.
