Handmade vintage Romanian folk costume with black embroidery

Handmade Romanian traditional costume from the 1970s. The Romanian blouse and the traditional skirt are hand-embroidered with black cotton on tulle. The Romanian folk blouse is decorated with beads, and the  trditional skirt is also adorned with hand embroidery using golden thread.

The Romanian blouse is transparent (see-through), while the skirt, although made of a material similar to tulle, is not transparent like the blouse.

Size S-M or M with the following dimensions:

Shirt length: 55 cm (21.65 inches)

Sleeve length measured from the neck: 61 cm (24 inches)

Chest circumference: 126 cm (49.6 inches)

Skirt length: 79 cm (31.1 inches)

Skirt circumference: 190 cm (74.8 inches)

The skirt has a drawstring at the waist, which can be replaced with elastic.

Includes an old apron made of black cotton velvet.

Condition: very good, with signs of wear typical for a 50-year-old Romanian folk costume. It has no holes, patches, noticeable stains, or tears.

This traditional Romanian costume was worn by girls and young women in the 1960s-70s, with the tulle material giving it a light and appealing appearance. A camisole or vest is recommended to be worn with this Romanian folk  blouse.
