Old handmade Romanian traditional costume from Oltenia

Handmade, authentic traditional Romanian folk costume, consisting of 3 pieces: a Romanian traditional blouse with skirt ( Romanian folk dress )which is  hand-sewn with a multicolored floral pattern and decorated with old golden metallic sequins, a pair of thinner woolen aprons and a new traditional belt.

The Romanian blouse with the skirt is richly embroidered, handmade on commercially produced fabric, with multicolored cotton embroidery. The Romanian traditional dress has been washed, cleaned, and is ready to wear. It shows normal traces of wear for an item of this age .

Defects: two repaired very small pinches at the bottom of the skirt, which are covered by the aprons—please check the photos for details.

Size L has the following measurements:

Neck: 39 cm (15.35" )

Sleeve length from the base of the neck: 70 cm (27.55 " )

Armhole circumference: 54 cm (27 x 2)  or 21 " 

Chest circumference: 124 cm (48.8")

Waist circumference: 124 cm (48.8")

Length: 121 cm (47.6")

The Romanian  traditional woolen aprons are thin, burgundy-colored, and have no defects. The ribbon that border the aprons is new.

The traditional belt is also new.
