Vintage Romanian folk costume from Oltenia with pleated skirt

Romanian handmade folk costume,  vintage folk costume in very good condition, consisting of 3 pieces: Romanian handmade folk dress , hand woven folk pleated skirt  and a traditional new belt.

1 .This traditional Romanian dress  with ornamental design and fine  stitching  is hand-embroidered using blue and burgundy cotton threads, resulting in a stunning color combination. 

This beautiful garment belongs to the category of old  Romanian folk dresses from the Oltenia region, renowned for their rich tradition and exceptional craftsmanship. Every aspect of the dress, from the fabric used to the intricate stitches, is handmade within households, honoring the authenticity and ethnic heritage.
