Originating from the Oltenia region, this authentic Romanian peasant costume is a testament to our rich cultural heritage. The ensemble comprises two remarkable pieces: a meticulously handcrafted ethnic dress and a pair of intricately hand-woven traditional aprons.

The dress, estimated to be 60-80 years old, showcases remarkable artistry with its black cotton thread intricately woven onto a white hand-woven linen fabric. While the linen may have some imperfections here and there, it adds character to this well-preserved dress, which was lovingly created on a traditional loom. As a delightful touch, green beads embellish the lower hem, enhancing its allure.

The dress has been thoroughly washed, rendering it clean and ready to be cherished. 

It boasts a length of 119 cm (46.85 inches), a chest circumference of 130 cm (51.18 inches), and sleeve length, measured from the base of the neck, of 68 cm (26.77 inches). It comfortably fits sizes M to L, and even XL.

Additionally, the costume includes a pair of aprons that are a testament to age-old craftsmanship. Hand-woven with a delightful blend of black, green, and brown cotton threads, these aprons radiate timeless elegance. 

With an age surpassing 80 to 90 years, they have been impeccably preserved. Measuring 78 x 40 cm (30.70 x 15.74 inches), they perfectly complement the dress.

The aprons feature an exquisite weave, in which golden threads have been thoughtfully incorporated, adding a touch of opulence. Notably, they are in very good condition, free from tears, holes, and stains, ensuring their lasting beauty.
