Vintage Romanian folk costume from Oltenia, ethnic Romanian handmade outfit

This  vintage Romanian folk costume from Oltenia  consists of three distinct pieces, each with its unique characteristics and design elements. The first piece is a hand-woven dress made of white homespun linen with red and blue cotton threads. The dress is around 60 to 80 years old, and despite some imperfections in the linen, it is in good condition overall. The dress is completely handmade, hand-woven in a traditional loom, and the red pattern is perfectly preserved with no missing parts or tears.

around chest: 120 cm or 47. 24 inches

Condition: good condition with imperfections in linen and also with a yellow stain at back, around the neck.

The second piece is a pair of hand-woven wool aprons that are between 50 and 80 years old. The aprons are made of wool on cotton and come in vivid colors, adding a pop of vibrancy to the outfit. The front apron has horizontal lines, while the back apron features vertical lines, creating a striking contrast between the two. The aprons are in very good condition .

Completing the ensemble is a matching new traditional belt. While it may not be the exact belt shown in the image, it is a new  belt that perfectly matches the outfit. The belt ties everything together and adds an additional layer of authenticity to the costume.
