Romanian old folk costume from Banat , Transylvania

Romanian folk costume from Banat consisting of 3 pieces : white embroidered Romanian traditional dress and pair of folk aprons .

1.Romanian traditional  vintage dress with ample skirt from Transylvania. This exquisite traditional dress is meticulously handcrafted, adorned with intricate handmade lace embroidery (sabac) on the chest, lower hem , and sleeve's frill . The fabric is handmade traditional fabric.

While the handmade lace may not be in perfect condition, showing some wear and thinning in places the price reflects this imperfection. For those with the time and skill, the sabac can be reinforced and restored. Nevertheless, this Romanian traditional dress remains beautiful .

The size S has the following dimensions:

Sleeve length measured from the base of the neck: 66 cm ( 26 " )

Chest circumference: 106 cm (41.73 " )

Waist: 110 cm ( 43.3 " )

Length: 112 cm ( 44 " )

Approximate age: 40-50 years.

2.Pair of hand-embroidered Romanian folk aprons , dating back to around 1960 - 1980. They are hand-embroidered with silver tinsel and decorated with sequins on black velvet, which adds a touch of glamour and elegance to their traditional design. These Romanian folk aprons are in good condition, having only been slightly worn.

The aprons originate from the Banat folkloric region of Romania and are truly beautiful and gorgeous. The frontal apron is wide and features intricate embroidery, while the back apron is narrower  .
