Vintage traditional Romanian clothing from Oltenia

Romanian folk outfit , vintage Romanian traditional attire consisting of  : Romanian folk dress , folk skirt and belt .

1. Gorgeous 50 - 80 years old Romanian traditional dress from Oltenia region. The dress is hand embroidered with multi colored cotton thread on white homespun fine cotton fabric. The fabric have vertical purple fine stripes in its weave , this is a feature of the handmade canvas from Oltenia  .

It is in good condition, having only minor traces of the wear. No reparation, no noticeable stain. Clean, ready to be worn. I machine washed it at 90 Celsius.

Age of the dress: 50 - 80 years old.

Size: M-  L may be XL too

Measurements: dress length: 114 cm or 44. 88 inches.

Around chest 126 cm or 49 inches

Around waist 126 cm or 49 inches

Sleeves are long sleeves .The skirt is large and it is A shape.

2. 50 - 80 years old pleated over skirt, hand woven with multicolored fine wool thread and cotton. The background is black with fine vertical stripes . It is a medium thick pleated apron from Oltenia, suitable for summer time also .

It is pleated around the upper hem and it is an overlapping skirt. It also can be closed with a button and this way will fit to a waist circumference of  maximum 82 cm ( 32.2 inches ) . You can move the button where you like on the waist line.

Length of the skirt : 70 cm or 27.55 inches 

Around the lower hem : 320 cm or 126 inches

The satin ribbon around lower hem is new .

3. Handmade wool sash / belt . Very old and with 2-3 holes in it  .

160 cm x 6 cm  ( 63 inches x 2.4 inches )
