Antique Romanian traditional costume from Transylvania, Banat

This old Romanian folk costume is handmade with black cotton thread on linen-cotton fabric and dates from the 1940s-1960s. It consists of 3 pieces: a traditional Romanian peasant dress , an old belt, and a pair of woolen aprons.

It is a very well-preserved museum-quality piece that will surely enrich any wardrobe. The Romanian traditional dress fits a size M or M-L and measures: 120 cm over the chest, 118 cm around the waist, 108 cm dress length, and 65 cm sleeve length from neck. There is a pale yellow stain around the waist, but it is quite subtle and is covered by the aprons and belt.

The pair of woolen aprons are hand-woven. They are similar, but not identical. They are very old, could be over 100 years old. In perfect condition.
