Vintage Romanian folk costume from Banat, Romanian traditional clothing

Gorgeous hand embroidered and hand beaded Romanian traditional costume from Banat. The Romanian folk  blouse and the Romanian  traditional skirt are hand embroidered with multicolored acrylic thread on organza, a sheer ,see through fabric. The skirt is decorated on the lower hem with beads and with an wide row of hand embroideries. The colorful pattern is hand stitched: cross point.

Dated around 1960 - 1980.

Condition: good, slightly worn, clean and ready to be used.

around waist: 118 cm or 46. 45 inches

sleeves length from shoulder 54 cm or 21. 25 inches

shoulder to shoulder: 37 cm or 14. 56 inches

Also this Romanian costume contain a pair of  dark pink silky hand beaded traditional aprons. The frontal apron is richly hand beaded with golden, white and black beads. The back apron is narrow and similar hand beaded. There are no missing beads they are in good to very good condition with no noticeable flaws.

Length of the apron: 59 cm or 23. 22 inches

This traditional Romanian clothing is in good to very good condition with normal traces of the wear for an item of 50 years old. No noticeable stain, no hole, clean.

On back the front apron have news papers as support for beads. All Romanian costumes from this region was made this way.
