Exquisite Romanian traditional clothing from Transylvania, showcasing the rich heritage of the BANAT folklore.

This captivating Romanian folk ensemble features delicate hand embroidery adorning the sleeves, front of the blouse, and the lower hem of the skirt. The Transylvanian peasant dress, adorned with ancient metallic sequins, is meticulously hand-stitched on handmade cotton fabric.

Ideal for size L , though it is recommended to verify the measurements:

Underarm to underarm: 62 cm or 24.4 inches

Waist circumference: 130 cm or 51 inches

Dress length: 120 cm or 47.24 inches

Sleeve length from neck: 65 cm or 25.5 inches

The traditional  dress is adjustable around the neck and its age of 80-100 years. In a charming vintage condition with subtle signs of wear, it remains tear-free and unaltered. Note some faint blue stains on the lower part and pale yellow stains on the upper part, as illustrated in the final photos.

The hand-loomed fabric boasts a thickness comparable to denim.

Additionally, a pair of hand-embroidered folk aprons accompanies the traditional dress. The front apron, wider than its back counterpart, is a distinctive trait common to Banat costumes. Both aprons are intricately adorned with  hand-stitched using silver and gold thread.

Universally sized, the aprons measure 74 cm (29 inches) in length. In good condition, devoid of tears or stains, and impeccably clean, these aprons boast an age of 50-60 years.
