Vintage Romanian traditional clothing from Bistrita

Old Romanian Folk Costume from Bistrița, Size M-L, consisting of 4 pieces: traditional blouse, skirt, pair of woolen aprons and woven belt.

1. The Romanian blouse is old, from the 1970s-1980s. It is sewn mechanically on thick, hand-woven fabric. Embroidery with brown-beige silk in combination with silver and beige lame. It has a row of crochet around the neck through which a woven string is passed. Being adjustable around the neck, it is easier to put on and fit on the shoulders and chest.

It fits a M-L with the following dimensions:

Shirt length: 45 cm ( 17.7 " ) 

I have not lengthened it because it seemed to me that this length is sufficient for size M and because I do not want so much material under the skirt. Upon request, I offer you for free 10 cm of old material, similar to the one from the blouse, in case you want to lengthen it yourself.

Sleeve length measured from the crochet at the neck: 56 cm ( 22 " ). The sleeve ends with hand-crocheted lace.

Chest circumference: 138 cm ( 54.33 " )

Oblique neckline around the shoulder: 42 cm ( 16.53 " )

2. Old skirt (traditional skirt) made of hand-woven fabric, similar but not identical to the fabric of the blouse. It has decorative keys and broken embroidery around the circumference. It has an elastic waistband. Circumference: 250 cm ( 98 " )  and length 70 cm ( 27.55 " ). No defects, beautiful, ready to wear.

3. Old, hand-made traditional aprons. No defects, I had them chemically cleaned at the dry cleaner, they are ready to wear. The front apron is multicolored and the back apron is brown with embroidered multicolor flowers .

4. New belt.
