Vintage Romanian folk costume from Bistrita

Vintage Romanian  traditional costume from the Bistrita Nasaud region, consisting of four pieces: a traditional blouse (ie), old skirt with decorative stitching (poale) featuring "sabac" technique, a pair of vintage traditional  aprons (zadii), and a matching new belt (brau).

1 .The Romanian traditional blouse have gold and silver embroidery on chest and sleeves . This is a combination of machine and hand embroidery on a sturdy home-woven fabric. The embroidery is beautifully crafted with golden and silver threads. The folk blouse for sale  features handmade crocheted details on the neckline and sleeves. The fabric is a thicker home-woven cloth with excellent durability.

2. The traditional Romanian skirt (poale) is made of hand-woven canvas with intricate decorative stitching and handmade crocheted lace. It has a discreetly repaired snag that is not noticeable when worn due to its size.

3 .The traditional Romanian aprons (zadii) are vibrant violet in color and adorned with delicate hand embroidery. They are entirely handmade and have been minimally used. They are truly exquisite.

 4. A matching new belt (brau) is included, perfectly complementing the ensemble.
