Vintage Romanian folk dress from Banat with brown embroidery

This is a traditional Romanian dress with flared skirt, originating from the Banat region. This Romanian traditional dress is  hand embroidered using cotton threads in two shades of brown. The sleeves are adorned with delicate handmade embroidery and finished with a hand-crocheted lace. The fabric used for this garment is a commercially available blend of cotton and industrial fibers.

This folklore-inspired dress is intended for young women and dates back to the 1970s. The blouse is approximately 50 years old, in good condition with slight signs of wear, but without any stains or tears. It has been cleaned and is ready to be worn.
