Handmade Romanian traditional clothing from Moldova

Old handmade folk costume from Moldova, Bacau area, handmade, an authentic  traditional costume worn by Catholics from Moldova (Csango). The price includes both the traditional Romanian blouse with floral pattern and the hand-woven traditional skirt. The belt is not included in the price.

The traditional hand-embroidered blouse for women is handmade with a vivid floral pattern made of multi-colored acrylic threads on white house cloth. The cut is typical of traditional Moldovan dresses with narrower sleeves, especially around the arms. The sleeves are placed very low, close to the waist, so the cut of the sleeve is more similar to a kimono sleeve.

The neck of the folk blouse is adjustable.

Minor signs of wear, no tears, repairs or visible stains. Dating back some 40-50 years, circa 1970, this Romanian folk shirt for women  exudes a timeless beauty.

Complementing this traditional Romanian ensemble is a handmade traditional skirt from Moldova. Hand crafted from a blend of cotton, wool and acrylic, this hand-woven folk skirt  exudes charm and sophistication.

Dating back 30-40 years ago , this traditional skirt has stood the test of time and is in very good condition, with only minor signs of wear.
