Antique Romanian traditional clothing from Salaj

Ancient Romanian traditional blouse (ie)  adorned with beads and a folk skirt from Salaj, Transylvania.Age of this Romanian folk costume : 50-60 years old .

Both are  intricately crafted on homemade fabric. The Romanian traditional  blouse features delicate silk white embroidery on the collar, shoulders, and cuffs, with the addition of antique Venetian beads enhancing the embroidery.

The skirt is fastened at the waist with braids, characteristic of Salaj folk costume .

Both pieces are flawlessly preserved. The blouse has been extended with similar vintage fabric.
