Rare vintage Romanian traditional apron from Salaj

Very old Romanian folk apron from Salaj. The traditional apron is made of black cotton canvas, hand-stitched with multi-colored thread around the waist. It is hand pleated.

Old lace on the edges and red satin ribbon.

It is a very old Romanian folk apron, so it is slightly discolored. As is any very old product. For museums or collectors because it is a scarce apron.

I have not cleaned it, it is in the condition in which I found it. The black cotton canvas is slightly discolored and with a small hole between the pleats, I tried to capture it in the pictures, I only succeeded in one, I hope you can see it.

The red satin is degraded: spots in places, with tears. You can apply another satin ribbon over it and make it new. For a collection, it does not need to be changed. There is nothing disturbing, it can be seen that it is a very old, beautiful Romanian traditional apron , typical of Salaj.
