Antique Bulgarian blouse from Romania with metallic embroidery

Fabulous handmade blouse of ethnic Bulgarians from Banat, Romania. This Romanian folk blouse is exquisitely hand-sewn with metal thread, making it a splendid piece over 60-80 years old. The tunic neck, adorned with gold and silver metal embroidery, is truly a jewel. Equally impressive are the handmade sleeves, embellished with multicolored thread and silver and gold metallic accents, reminiscent of royal attire.

Age: Over 60-80 years

Size: S, with the smallest measurement at the neck, which has a circumference of 32 cm or 12.6 inches. The rest of the measurements are suitable for the average European size S.

Shirt circumference immediately below the armpits: 108 cm or 42.5 inches

Sleeve length from the neck: 64 cm or 25.2 inches

Length: 50 cm or 19.7 inches

From shoulder to armpit: 29 cm or 11.4 inches

Condition: This antique handmade blouse is in fair condition, and the price reflects this.

However, we washed it using traditional methods, as in the past, using ash, homemade soap, and vinegar. We do not recommend the use of modern detergents on these century-old treasures made of metal.
