Exquisite handmade antique folk blouse, originating from the Bulgarians in Banat, Romania. A splendid testament to craftsmanship, this folk blouse is adorned with metal thread, boasting a remarkable age of over 100 years. The tunic neck, embellished with gold and silver metal embroidery, stands as a jewel in itself, while the handmade sleeves, featuring multicolored thread and silver and gold metallic accents, rival the grandeur of royal costume sleeves.

Size: S-M or M. The smallest measure of the blouse is the neck, with a circumference of 32 cm or 12.6 inches. The remaining dimensions are suitable for the average European size M.

Shirt circumference immediately below the armpits: 120 cm or 47.24 inches

Around the hem of the shirt: 146 cm or 57.48 inches

Sleeve length starting from the neck: 64 cm or 25.2 inches

Condition: This blouse is in wonderful condition considering its age. The metal embroidery is impeccable, and the hand-woven canvas remains perfect. Although there was bleeding of the red cloth at the cuffs, we have not intervened in any way, as this blouse is a museum piece that does not support alterations. The bleeding on the cuffs does not detract from the overall beauty of the shirt.

This handmade blouse has been washed, making it ready to wear. The washing process reflects the traditions of the past, using ash, homemade soap, and vinegar. We advise against using modern detergents on these century-old treasures adorned with metal. While you may find a stain here and there due to its gentle washing, the shirt is generally clean and stands as a regal addition to any collection or museum.
