Romanian handmade folk dress from Oltenia

Captivating Romanian folk dress, showcasing the rich cultural heritage of the Oltenia region, aged between 60 to 80 years. This unique Romanian dress is handwoven with skillful craftsmanship, using vibrant red and blue cotton threads exuding a timeless charm.

The Romanian dress for sale  is in good condition, bearing the marks of its age, including imperfections in the linen. Additionally, a faint yellow stain can be seen at the back, around the neck area (please refer to the last 2 photos for this detail). However, the striking red pattern remains perfectly preserved with no missing parts or tears, a testament to the care with which it was made. This Romanian traditional dress is a remarkable example of meticulous handiwork, having been entirely crafted by hand.

Prior to listing, the  folk dress has been carefully washed and is now clean, ready to be embraced once more. For best care, we recommend washing the dress with cold water and a mild detergent.
