Authentic Romanian Folk Costume from Banat – 3-Piece Traditional Ensemble

This genuine Romanian folk costume from the Banat region includes three beautifully crafted pieces: a traditional Romanian blouse-style dress, a pair of wool aprons (catrințe), and a woven waist belt (brâu).

The dress is handmade from homespun white cotton fabric (BBC) and features bell-shaped sleeves with white embroidery on the collar and sleeve hems. The cuffs are finished with a row of handmade lace trim, showcasing the craftsmanship typical of Romanian folk dress. It has a deep slit at the chest and closes at the neck with a small button. Despite the generous measurements, the cut fits best for size M (EU 38–40).
