This age-old Romanian traditional dress from the 1960s-1970s showcases masterful hand embroidery gracing the shoulders and chest with charming pansy motifs. A true treasure from the past, this traditional Romanian skirt boasts an impressive age of 50 - 80 years. Skillfully handwoven with multicolored fine cotton thread on a striking black background, this light folk skirt is suitable for summer time folk costume .

This Romanian folk skirt  is pleated / creased  around the upper hem and you must fix it  with a needle, or buttons and a belt / sash.

Measurement:

the maxim circumference around waist as it is pleated right now is 95 cm or 37. 4 inches.

the lower hem circumference is 3 meters or 118 inches

skirt length: 70 cm or 27. 55 inches

As it is will fit to a waist with the maximum circumference of  95 cm or 37. 4 inches.
