Exquisite handmade Romanian traditional bed sheet or coverlet that captures the essence of Northern Transylvanian craftsmanship. This remarkable textile, crafted over 50-80 years ago, showcases the artistry of traditional loom weaving. Due to the narrow nature of the loom, the bed sheet is composed of three panels of handwoven fabric seamlessly stitched together. Adding to its charm, one side features a delicate lace border meticulously hand-crocheted in fine cotton.

The weaving is a testament to skill, strength, and beauty, displaying a captivating geometrical pattern in its texture. Employing an ancient and intricate technique known as weaving over the threads, this textile achieves motifs that stand out in relief.
