Antique Romanian belt, hand woven wool belt, traditional wool sash

This hand-woven Romanian folk belt is an artifact originating from the Oltenia region. Handcrafted, most likely between the 1920s and 1950s, it is testimony to the talent of artisans of the past times , preserving in its fabric intricate stories and centuries-old customs.
