Vintage hand embroidered Romanian traditional shirt from Transylvania

Old Romanian traditional shirt from Transylvania ,Banat folkloric region , an ancient traditional shirt for men. Adorned with astonishing embroidery in white silk and cream cotton thread, this folk shirt features a  hand embroidered floral pattern on the chest, cuffs, collar, and around the lower hem. The fabric of the shirt is of medium thickness, handwoven, providing a unique texture and character to this Romanian folk shirt . The color combination used in the embroidery is both rare and beautiful. It consists of small,  cream-colored cotton thread  3D tinny flowers, with very pale pink centers. The rest of the hand embroidery is done in white silk.

The traditional shirt is designed for a man of size M or for women as a size L  if worn as a dress, with the following measurements:

Neck circumference: 37 cm ( 14.5 " )

Length: 104 cm (41 " )

Shoulders: 37-40 cm ( 14.5 " --15.74 " )

Sleeve length measured from the collar to the cuff is 70 cm ( 27.55 " ).

The shirt has a circumference of 112 cm ( 44 " ) just below the armpits and 130 cm at the waist ( 51 " )

The distance from the shoulder to the arm is 27 cm (10.6 " ) which is a very good measure of the sleeve's fit.

As for its condition, the shirt is in good shape, with minor signs of wear, which are normal for a traditional shirt of this age. It has no patches, stains, tears, or repairs.

This Romanian shirt is estimated to be between 40 and 50 years old or even older. It is an absolutely wonderful traditional men's shirt, perfect for collectors or enthusiasts of authentic folk costumes.
