Hand embroidered Romanian folk shirt from Transylvania

This is a stunning Romanian traditional shirt handmade in  Transylvania region, Banat. Its beautiful white silk embroidery is displayed on the chest creating an impressive pattern. The fabric of this Romanian folk shirt is made of the  hand woven cotton material .

This  Romanian blouse for men is designed for a man with M size or for a woman as a dress ( L-XL size ) with the following measurements: 

a 15.75-inch (40 cm) neck circumference

a length of 46.85 inches (119 cm)

and shoulders measuring 16.14 inches (41 cm) across. 

The sleeve length and shoulder  is 28  inches (71 cm) with an additional cuff of 5.11 inches (13 cm).

Thi Romanian folk  shirt has a 42.7-inch (134 cm) circumference right under the armpits and a 54.33 inch (160 cm) waist circumference. 

The distance from the shoulder to the armpit is 9.44 inches (24 cm). The Romanian blouse is in good condition, with only minor signs of wear that are expected from a handmade traditional clothing of this age.

The shirt is estimated to be at least 40 to 50 years old, or possibly older. It is a fantastic and unique piece that showcases the traditional clothing style of Transylvania.
