This is a first-edition hardback fold-down box, measuring 14" x 10". It features a grey linen backstrip with paper-covered boards. The portfolio includes a sixteen-page booklet illustrated in both black and white and color, along with 355 embroidery patterns from the Hungarian Kalotaszegi region of Romania. These patterns are presented on 108 mostly folded sheets and are printed in single colors. It's worth noting that the text of the booklet and pattern captions are all in Hungarian.

The entire set is well-preserved and in very good condition. Please be aware that this is a heavy volume.
