Handwoven and hand embroidered raw silk traditional scarf from Romania . Beautiful embroidery (open work) on a fine raw silk.

The scarf is in poor to fair condition with the traces of the wear inherent for an item of this age. Many holes and small tears of the fine fabric. No reparation.
The color is ivory.
It is very fine and delicate and in spite of the flaws I mentioned, it is a gorgeous ethnic veil .
It is part of the Romanian costume from Oltenia, Muntenia and Moldova and it is worn only by married women.
