Beautiful ANTIQUE hand woven, hand loomed, homespun hemp - cotton blend fabric from Romania / Transylvania. Age: over 60 - 80 years old may be 100 yo.

Organic hemp and linen sacking cloth with a strong and dense weave - great for bags, seat covers, pillow covers, bench coverings, upholstery, stair runners, runners, table runners and so on.

A lovely cream oatmeal colour with vertical red stripes.

Incredibly rare to find this old linen in such a beautiful usable condition.

It is a very dense, thick and sturdy fabric, handmade in households of Transylvania 100 years ago.

CONDITION: see photos - generally very good sturdy fabric. Minor dirty storage at the beginning of the roll.

These rolls of linen have NOT BEEN WASHED and will need to be laundered in a cold cycle and air dried or carefully tumble dried.
