This beautiful antique Romanian blouse is a one-of-a-kind piece that has been restored with great care and attention to detail. The original sleeves and front of this Romanian folk blouse, adorned with intricate beading, have been preserved and attached to a new back made from a similar fabric. When discovered, the blouse was in extremely poor condition, with a broken smocked collar and no back. The restoration process has breathed new life into this stunning piece of Romanian heritage.
The handwoven/homespun cotton fabric used in this blouse is from South Romania, and the blouse is a size S/M. With a length of 62 cm and a chest circumference of 132 cm, this Romanian handmade blouse is sure to be a unique and treasured addition to any wardrobe.
