Restored Vintage Romanian Traditional Blouse from Banat (L-XL)

This beautifully restored traditional Romanian blouse from Banat is a unique piece of   Romanian traditional art , lovingly brought back to life. When discovered, the blouse was in a severely deteriorated state, missing its back and neckline. After a meticulous restoration process, this vintage blouse has been transformed into a wearable work of art, perfectly suited for modern times while preserving its traditional roots.

Restoration Details

The blouse was originally handcrafted with pink thread and accented with silver sequins on white satin. The embroidered chest piece and the compact embroidery on the sleeves were carefully transferred onto new white satin, maintaining the integrity of the original design. The sleeves are generously wide and end with an elastic-gathered ruffle, offering a voluminous, elegant look. Typically, these 3/4 sleeves are worn pushed up towards the elbow to create a billowy, puffy effect that adds charm and character to the blouse.
