Vintage Traditional Romanian Blouse from Sibiu – Hand-Embroidered Folk Costume, 60-80 Years Old

This vintage traditional Romanian blouse (ie) from Sibiu is a rare and beautiful piece of authentic folk clothing, showcasing intricate hand embroidery in black and brown thread on white cotton fabric. The blouse features black fabric bands applied to the sleeves and ches , adding a unique touch to its design , specific to Sibiu folkloric region .

Although it is 60-80 years old, the Romanian blouse is still in good condition with some flaws . However, it does have a few minor imperfections, including 5-6 small repairs, similar to the one shown in the last photo. The repairs are not very visible because the blouse is very rich in volume, and they blend into its fullness.

The black embroidery has slightly faded over time .The flaws described are reflected in the price.
