Vintage hand-embroidered dress from Romania handmade from fine commercial cotton fabric, with delicate and intricate hand embroidery in white, green, blue, and brown thread. The low waist of the dress is pleated at the back, giving it a retro style.
The dress is a size L or XL, but please check the following measurements to ensure a proper fit:
Shoulder + sleeve length measured from the neckline: 70 cm or 27.55 inches
Around chest: 136 cm or 53.5 inches
Around waist: 132 cm or 52 inches
Dress length: 126 cm or 49.6 inches
This folk dress from Romania is in excellent condition, with no noticeable flaws. The embroidery is incredibly detailed. The upper part of the dress and the lower part of the dress may have been made at different times as they are slightly different. The collar around the neck is not as old as the dress, but this is typical for a costume of this age.
