Vintage Romanian folk dress from Padureni ,Hunedoara

This Romanian folk dress for sale is a truly exquisite masterpiece of Romanian culture. The Romanian traditional dress is hand-embroidered with black cotton thread on traditional hand-woven cotton cloth. The fabric used for the skirt and the back of the blouse is a combination of flax and hemp. The blouse is also hand-embroidered on cotton fabric. This splendid vintage handmade Romanian dress originates from Transylvania, specifically the Padureni area.

This dress is estimated to be between 50 to 70 years old. Despite its age, it is in good condition with minor signs of wear. The black embroidery has slightly faded over time and due to washing. However, it has been carefully cleaned and is ready to be worn.
