Authentic traditional Romanian skirt from Western Transylvania, beautifully handmade from black silk with an elegant black floral woven pattern.
This is a wrap-around folk skirt, pleated at the waist, designed to be worn with a traditional apron (zadia) that covers the front opening.

At the front, it features a small applied pocket, typical of old Transylvanian traditional garments.

Measurements:
– Waistband length: 89 cm (35 inches) – fits a waist up to 80 cm (31.5 inches) for proper overlap.
– Skirt length: 84 cm (33 inches).
– Hem circumference: 350 cm (137.8 inches).

Condition: Very good vintage condition, clean and well preserved.
Care instructions: Do not iron the pleated area! Only the flat sections (about 10–20 cm / 3.9–7.8 inches) on each side of the front opening may be gently ironed. Keep the skirt hanging on a hanger to preserve the pleats.
