Old Romanian Folk Skirt – Hand Embroidered Traditional Skirt from Transylvania

This is a Romanian traditional skirt with a beautiful cross-stitched pattern, hand-embroidered between 1970 and 1980. The fabric used is a commercial poly blend fabric (cotton and acrylic), which was very fashionable between 1970 and 1990. The lower hem of the dress is decorated with multicolored cotton thread embroidery and a handmade lace trim. It is designed to fit sizes M-L-XL and has elastic around the waist for comfort.

However, please note that there are some flaws to this folk skirt . The colors of the hand embroidery have become discolored in places, particularly the black thread, which has turned gray over time. Despite these flaws, this Romanian traditional clothing remains a stunning example of traditional Romanian embroidery and would make a unique addition to any wardrobe. 

The Romanian folk skirt measures 184 cm (72.44 inches) in circumference around the waist and hips, and has a length of 78 cm (30.7 inches).
