Old traditional Romanian skirt from Transylvania. It is handmade: hand-embroidered on handwoven fabric, and it has been around for over 50 years.
It's a traditional skirt with white hand embroidery around the hem. It features a row of crocheted lace at the hem as well.
The handmade fabric is thick and dense, containing a mix of cotton, hemp, and flax threads.
The skirt has a length of 75 cm (29.5") and a maximum circumference of 166 cm (65.35"). This is universal size .
It has an elastic waistband, which replaced the old hemp string used in past times.
The traditional skirt is in good condition, with no visible defects.
