Romanian traditional clothing from Oltenia

Romanian folk costume from Oltenia formed of 3 pieces : Romanian handmade folk  blouse , traditional Romanian skirt and Romanian handmade vintage wool and silk folk skirt  ( valnic in Romanian ): 

 1. Handmade Romanian blouse and skirt both handwoven with black cotton thread on white cotton.

NEW, not worn in perfect condition.

Will fit to sizes L and XL 

Blouse length: 70 cm or 27.55 "

Around chest: 130 cm or 51.18"

The hand woven pattern is displayed around the lower hem for skirt .

Around the waist the skirt has an elastic and will fit to any circumference smaller  than 138 cm or 54.33 "

The length is 69 cm or 27.16 " 

Around hips it has 138 cm or 54.33 "

2 . Romanian peasant  hand woven folk  skirt, traditional hand embroidered skirt ( VALNIC in Romanian )

Skirt length: 69 cm or 27.16 "

Around the waist: 87 cm ( 34.25 inches ). As it is, it will fit at a circumference around waist  of no more than 85 cm ( 33 inches ).

Around the lower hem it is bordered with a new black ribbon.

It is pleated around the upper hem and is adjustable with a drawstring.

Skirt age: 60 - 80 years

Condition: good condition showing normal signs of wear for its age. The white silk is slightly bluish because the black background dyed at home probably leaked slightly into the white silk embroidery. These inconveniences do not affect the beauty of the  costume and the skirt and are visible only to a careful look.
