Rare Traditional Romanian Folk Costume from Ineu, Arad (Blouse and Skirt) Over 80-100 Years Old – Perfect for Size M

This traditional Romanian folk costume from Ineu, Arad, is a rare find, estimated to be over 80-100 years old and still in very good condition. The set includes a blouse (spacel) and a skirt (poala), making it a valuable collector's item, museum piece, or unique fashion statement. The costume is especially unique due to its compatibility with a modern size M, a rare feature in vintage traditional wear.

Exquisite Handmade Details – Metal Thread and Rich Embroidery

The poala (skirt) is elaborately decorated with handmade embroidery in white and yellow, with stunning metallic thread accents, adding a regal touch to the design. The base of the skirt is made from home-woven fabric with "cinari " or " stripes ", and the waistband is hand-embroidered in red and black cotton. The skirt's waistband measures 77 cm (30.3 inches) with a length of 84 cm (33 inches) for the skirt . It features a rich, full silhouette, providing an elegant traditional look.

Although displayed inverted in the photos, the correct way to wear the folk skirt is with the opening (slit) at the front, underneath the apron (catrinta), where the non-gathered part would typically go.
