Handmade vintage authentic traditional Romanian clothing

Vintage Romanian traditional clothing , folk costume from Oltenia consisting of 3 pieces: Romanian folk dress  with hand embroidered black pattern, pair of splendid vintage folk aprons  and new belt.

1. This Romanian folk dress hails from the South of Romania and it is hand embroidered with black cotton thread.  The hand embroidered  pattern showcases a dense and compact arrangement, beautifully adorning the chest, sleeves, and hem. The upper part of this dress ( the Romanian blouse ) is made of hand woven fabric and the skirt is made of commercial cotton fabric .

Preserved in its original condition, the dress has recently undergone a gentle wash to restore it.

Condition: This Romanian folk  dress is in good condition, devoid of any prominent patches, tears, or stains. 

The dress has been preserved in its original condition, with a gentle wash to refresh it. It is in good condition, with only a few minor repairs, the largest being on the back (as shown in the last photo). The black shade has gracefully faded over time, revealing a beautiful dark grey hue.

For care, wash in cold water and air-dry naturally in sunlight or wind, avoiding machine drying.

2.The Romanian handwoven pair of traditional aprons boasts a charming floral pattern against a burgundy background.  Crafted from cotton, these aprons are ideal for summer wear, showcasing minimal signs of age-related wear and tear. No stains, tears, or repairs are present .
