Old handmade Romanian traditional costume from Oltenia

This exquisite old Romanian folk costume consists of 4 pieces:

1. Traditional Long Romanian Blouse (Dress):

This hand-crafted traditional Romanian dress  originates from Oltenia, southern Romania, and was made between the 1940s and 1950s. It is hand-embroidered on fine, thin, handwoven linen fabric. This old folk blouse is hand-embroidered with multicolored cotton embroidery - blue and orange. Made entirely by hand with natural fibers, handwoven in the household.

Size M-L with the following measurements:

length: 124 cm (48.8")

Sleeve length from base of neck: 52 cm (20.5")

Sleeves are long 3/4 sleeves

Chest circumference: 134 cm (52.7")

Excellent condition, this old Romanian blouse with skirt is authentic and very well preserved.

2. Old Oltenian Valnic (Pleated Skirt):

This old Oltenian valnic is a thinner style made from cotton and silk. It is handwoven with blue, brown, and green stripes on a black cotton and silk background. The skirt is hand-pleated at the waist and the pleats are secured with strings. Being an overlapping skirt, it can fit various sizes. The waist measures 91 cm (35.8"), making it suitable for any waist size smaller than that, allowing for some overlap.

Hem circumference: 290 cm (114")

Length: 66 cm (26")

The skirt is secured at the waist with a pin and then tightened with the belt.
