Old handmade Romanian folk attire with pleated skirt

This exquisite old Romanian traditional costume consists of 4 pieces: Romanian blouse , underskirt , pleated Romanian traditional skirt and a new belt :

1. Traditional Romanian Blouse (Ie):

This hand-embroidered Romanian blouse features intricate black and brown embroidery on a commercial acrylic fabric that was very popular in the 1970s and 1980s. The hand-embroidered blouse is size S- M, with a good shoulder seam size and the following measurements: length 60 cm (23.6"), chest circumference 126 cm (49.6"), and sleeve length from the base of the neck 62 cm (24.4").

This traditional Romanian blouse is in good condition, clean and well-maintained, with only normal signs of wear for a garment of its age. It has a beautiful neckline design and is free of any visible stains, tears, or repairs. This national blouse is a true testament to the rich cultural heritage and unique artistic sense of the Romanian people.

2. Underskirt (Possibly 1990s):

This underskirt is made from white commercial fabric with an elastic waistband. The hem is cut into corners and decorated with embroidered flowers.

Circumference: 190 cm (74.8")

3. Old Handwoven Valnic (Pleated Skirt):

This old handwoven valnic is made from hemp and cotton, dyed black. It features a woven pattern with silver, gold, and green threads.

Due to the hand-pleating, it requires dry cleaning only. It is in very good condition despite being likely hand-crafted in the 1970s and has only minimal signs of wear.

Skirt length: 59 cm (23.22")

Waist: 95 cm (37.4")

It will fit a waist smaller than 90 cm (35") as it is an overlapping skirt and requires a bit of overlap. It is a thin Romanian folk skirt called valnic suitable for warmer weather.
