Traditional Romanian clothing , vintage handmade traditional attire

Traditional old  Romanian folk costume from Oltenia consisting of three pieces: a traditional Romanian  blouse with a flared skirt and  a pair of handmade aprons .

1 . The traditional Romanian blouse is hand-sewn on old, Oltenian homemade canvas. The upper part is canvas with woven (white woven checkered fabric). This dress  is hand-sewn with red and black cotton thread on the chest, back, and sleeves. The black color is faded, so there will be 2-3 shades of black on the blouse, please see the pictures carefully. The red color is not unevenly faded. The sleeves are three-quarters in length. It fastens with a small button in the front. It has a deep cut on the chest where you can attach a clasp. In addition to the unevenly faded black threads, note that there are 8 rows of embroidery on the left sleeve and 6 rows on the right sleeve. This is not necessary a mistake of the embroiderer but is posibble to be a protection against bad luck .

This Romanian traditional  has no tears or patches and is ready to wear. Size S-M with the following dimensions:

 length 110 cm (43.3 " )

 chest circumference 112 cm ( 44 " )

waist circumference 126 cm ( 49.6 " )

sleeve length from the neck measured: 47 cm (18.5 " ).

2 .Old, fine cotton pair of aprons are in very good  condition, without defects. Burgundy background with multicolored flowers .
