Handmade vintage Romanian traditional clothing

Vintage Romanian traditional clothing formed of 2 pieces : hand woven ethnic dress and pair of hand woven aprons .

1 .Old Romanian traditional dress from the South of Romania, hand woven with black cotton thread. Size L-XL, very rare an old dress with this size. The hand-woven pattern is dense and compact arranged on the chest, sleeves and around the hem.  It has a drawstring at the waist to adjust the circumference of the dress.

The back consists of two materials sewn together, see pictures for details.

The dress is in its original condition in which it was found. We just washed it.

Age: over 60 years

Size: L-XL

chest circumference: 164 cm or 64.56 inches

waist circumference: 148 cm or 58.26 inches

sleeve length measured from the base of the neck: 67 cm or 26.37 inches

shirt length: 119 cm or 46.85 inches

Condition: good. No obvious tears or stains. No major defects. Only black is discolored now being a dark gray.

The dress is washed only with cold water and dries in the sun or wind .

2. Romanian handmade vintage traditional  aprons.

Measurement:

Front apron: 74 x 34 cm, 29.13" x 13.38"

Back apron: 67 x 36 cm, 26.37" x 14.17"

very good condition. Small traces of wear. No stains. No tears.
