Vintage Romanian traditional clothing with handmade Romanian blouse and wool skirt

Romanian traditional clothing , folk costume from Oltenia containing 3 pieces : handmade vintage Romanian dress , wool pleated skirt and wool belt . 

1.Handmade Romanian Folk Dress from Oltenia from the 1960s-1970s which showcases masterful hand embroidery gracing the shoulders and chest with charming  fruit motifs. A single row of embroidery elegantly embellishes the dress's hem and sleeves. The canvas material is a fine, store-bought fabric, providing a delicate canvas for the multicolored embroidery, skillfully executed with soft and vibrant cotton threads.

Sleeve length: 50 cm (19.7 inches)

Chest circumference: 130 cm (51.18 inches)

Waist circumference: 116 cm (45.66 inches)

From shoulder to armpit: 32 cm or 12.5 inches

Condition:

This splendid Romanian traditional dress is in good condition, with only minimal signs of wear, exuding its timeless charm. Clean and meticulously maintained, it is ready to be worn and cherished.

2..Handwoven wool skirt, thick traditional skirt with wide pleats. The Romanian  wool folk skirt is a piece of traditional attire worn only on Sundays at church or on more special occasions such as weddings and baptisms. It is thicker, suitable for cold weather and has a satin ribbon around hems  that has been recently replaced. 

Waist, as pleated: 100 cm (39.4"), so you should have a waist circumference of less than 90 cm (35.4") for the skirt to fit nicely, slightly overlapping. 

Length: 70 cm (27.5").

Hem circumference: 3.2 m (126").

Condition : very good , cleaned , ready to be worn . It is a thick and heavy skirt , its weight is 2.5 kilograms 

3.Traditional Romanian wool belt hand-woven from wool. It is a very thick folk belt that is worn only with traditional thick wool skirts, winter skirts (valnice). The Romanian folk attire comes from the Mehedinti area.
