Romanian traditional clothing from Transylvania , vintage Romanian folk costume

Very old Romanian traditional costume from the Codru Country (a folk region in Maramureș - Satu Mare), a rarity. Size S-M (EU 36, 38).

This authentic  Romanian traditional clothing consists of 3 pieces: an old traditional blouse, an extremely wide skirt, and a traditional apron with cutout embroidery.

The Romanian blouse and skirt are made from homemade fabric, a blend of hemp and linen. They have no embroidery, only skillfully crafted pleats on the back, chest, and waist. The skirt is extremely wide, measuring 4.2 meters ( 4.2 yds )  in circumference at the hem. It is constructed from multiple horizontal panels. It is a beauty.

The traditional costume fits sizes S-M (36-38).

The Romanian traditional blouse has the following dimensions:

Shoulders: 42 cm ( 16.5 " )

From shoulder to underarm: 20 cm ( 7.87 " )

Sleeve length: 58 cm (22.83 " )

Blouse length: 55 cm (21.65 " )

Chest circumference just under the armholes: 104 cm ( 41 " ) . This is the smallest measure around chest of the blouse; it then widens like a bell.

It has no defects, is clean, and ready to wear.

The peasant skirt is beautifully gathered at the waist with white thread. It fastens at the waist with strings. It is wide, long, and superb.

The waist measures 62-65 cm (24.4 " - 25.4 " )

Clean and ready to wear.

The black apron on a thin woolen fabric or cloth appears to have handmade cutout embroidery. Without defects, only with the normal signs of age for such clothing (50-70 years).
