Vintage Romanian traditional skirt - hand embroidered folk skirt from Oltenia

This exquisite Romanian folk skirt is a traditional hand-embroidered garment worn in Oltenia. The black handwoven wool , hemp background is beautifully decorated with intricate embroidery using white- gray and yellow silk thread.
