Old traditional Romanian apron originating from Banat, Transylvania.
This traditional apron from Banat is handmade with metallic sequins and white beads. The background is black velvet. The sequins are a little rusty due to age. This seems to add more authenticity to this superb velvet folk apron. It is most likely handmade between 1950 and 1970.
The measurements are :
33 cm around the waist ( 13 " ) + the cord. The length is 75 cm ( 29.5 " ). It is 53 cm (20.86 " ) wide around the hem.

Very good condition with normal signs of wear. The folk apron have no holes. The metallic sequins are rusted. A few sequins are missing here and there, but overall this traditional Romanian apron from Banat is fantastically beautiful.
