Old hand embroidered Romanian Croatian dress from Banat size M

Rare and exquisite, this Romanian traditional dress hails from the rich cultural tapestry of Banat, showcasing a fusion of Romanian, Carashovan, Croat or  Slavic influences. Crafted over five to six decades ago, it remains a testament to timeless beauty and meticulous craftsmanship.

Delicately hand-embroidered with aubergine cotton thread on finely woven cotton fabric, its intricate motifs adorn the Romanian traditional dress with an air of elegance. The finest embroideries exude splendor through their intricate detailing.

This captivating Romanian folk dress , sized between M and L, boasts the following measurements:

Chest circumference: 114 cm or 44.88 inches

Waist circumference: 116 cm or 45.66 inches

Dress length: 130 cm or 51 inches

Sleeve length from base of neck to lower hem: 71 cm or 28 inches

Enhancing its charm, elastic has been added to the sleeves, forming a graceful frill. Despite its age, this Romanian traditional  dress is in good condition with minimal signs of wear, reflecting its enduring quality.

The only flaw is a 1 inch ( 2 cm )  reparation near right armpit please check last photo for detail .
