Superbly hand embroidered Hungarian pillow case from Western Transylvania / Kalotaszeg region. It is the most famous Hungarian hand embroidery from this region, the so called " written " embroidery, IRASOS.
Age: 50 - 60 years old
The pillow case is hand embroidered with white cotton thread on hemp/flax linen (similar with a very dense sack).
Sizes: 50 x 40 cm or 19. 68 x 15. 74 inches.
Very good condition, with minor traces of the wear.
